For which Minecraft Editions is the XRay texture pack?

XRay is available for Java, Bedrock, Education and Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE). Currently there is no information if it will be released for PS4/PS5, Nintendo Switch and other systems in the future.

Is XRay for Minecraft free or do I have to pay for it?

Of course, everything is free of charge.

How can I turn the pack on and off ingame?

For this you have to go to the options and then to resource packs. There you can enable or disable it.

Can I use it with TLauncher?

Yes, you can. The installation is exactly the same as for the official Java Edition. However, you should make sure that the launcher version and the pack version match.

Will it affect my FPS?

No, because the ZIP archive and .mcpack only require little computing power. In addition, the included textures only have a resolution of 16×16. Just like in the default pack. You might even get a small FPS boost, because your graphics card has to render much less.

Solutions to problems

Although the installation and activation is very simple, there are occasional problems. That is why we have listed here the most common problems with XRay texture pack.

What can I do if all blocks are dark and I can’t see anything?

There is a quick solution for this problem, because you just have to turn off the smooth lighting. For the Java Edition and MCPE this should be enough, but for the Windows 10 Edition you should also use a night vision potion. Of course you can use this potion in the other editions as well. Optionally you can also install the mod Optifine.

Why do I get an error message when I try to install XRay in Minecraft?

Strictly speaking, it is an incompatibility message. It tells you that the pack is not compatible with your version of the game. However, this message is superfluous, because there will be no problem if you activate XRay anyway. Therefore, we advise you to simply ignore the error message.

Why don’t I see any dungeons in the XRay texture pack?

You are probably confusing it with the XRay mod, which has these and many more features. As the title says, this is just a texture pack. As a result, only the blocks can be made transparent and no dungeons are highlighted.

How to be Undetected?

• The main mistake of a beginner is that you start using all the additional xray 1.17.1 features immediately after logging on to the server. Here you should be discreet, for example, get only +50% of resources instead of 1000%. Foul play on the part of players is very easy to detect.
• Professional moderators or admins have long studied the average statistics on the extraction of rare resources by players. So you should estimate the approximate figures of how much time you will need to get a few diamonds and not exceed this figure.
• Having data on the location of the diamonds, try to make a spectacle, something like building a random route that leads close to the source of the precious ore. In any case, do not dig straight to the diamonds. After all, admins have noclip and invisibility functions that will quickly declassify you.
• Study the regular players on the server. In any case, do not share information with them, because they can be friends of the admins and they are the first who will spoil you. So get a profit only with new players.
• Survive in different places. Storing a huge amount of diamonds in one place is a very easy way for admins to compare the average mining statistics with yours. Find Netherite immediately with Xray 1.16

The Netherite blocks are more precisely called Ancient Debris and are rarer than diamond. They are only found in the nether and are the only source for producing netherite stuff. Netherite is so stable that the block cannot be destroyed by explosions or fire. Netherite’s ore veins are very low, producing up to three blocks. Once you’ve found Ancient Debris, you can only destroy the block with a diamond pickaxe. You can then melt the block in a furnace to get Neherite scraps. It works similarly to the Xray Ultimate Resource Pack, but it specializes more in the new ore Netherite in the all-new 1.16 Nether Update.

The Netherite Scraps can be combined with Gold Ingots to get Netherite Ingots in the crafting table. You can combine the Netherite Ingots with diamond tools, weapons and armor. This will give you much stronger equipment, the strongest in the entire game. Netherite armor is the strongest armor in Minecraft and has more durability than tools made of diamond. How to install Xray 1.17.1 Java Hack

Creating a new profile

Slightly change the name of the profile (move the hyphen), for example, it was: “Optifine 1.17-XRay”, it became: “Optifine 1.17 X-Ray”

You should see a message about successful installation

Update the list of available versions of the game, or simply restart the launcher. As a result, you should see a version with both Optifine and Xray abbreviated in the name.

Launch the game. If everything went well, the main menu should indicate that your game has been modified.

Next, you can bind the keys in the “Controls” settings menu. There is a key to open the main menu as well as keys to activate additional features, for example: Cave Finder, turn on or off Fly, Fly speed, Fullbright, turn on or off Zoom, Zoom GUI, etc.

How to download and install X-Ray Texture Pack

How to install Xray 1.17.1 Texture

There is an option that has a feature of the usual set of resources, but here the author just hacked most of the images of simple blocks, so now it has 0% transparency (Fully transparent, only the outlines and borders of the blocks remain). Other blocks, such as rare ones, have 100% transparency (Not transparent. They look like regular blocks, there is also the possibility of highlighting and long-range rendering of special options.), so the player can always view them through other blocks.
This method of installing cheats is semi-allowed. Keep in mind that some servers have protection installed, that scans such players who can view specially created blocks (Admin blocks). As a result, you may be blocked.
There is a way to avoid blocking, but it is very hardcore because you will need to study their location and just not look there. Basically, these blocks are located on the server hub.

3. Unzip it and copy to C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks

Night vision with Xray

This is the best example of a night vision feature and you can clearly see the blocks of vegetation even in the dark. The square blocks on the ground indicate the areas which are safe for your movement and you can easily see through the contents of each block with this special xray resource pack. The dangerous TNT is in the middle and you can easily calculate the effect without getting anywhere near the object. It is laid on a track and you can see it being moved to a different location. You can also notice the vegetation in different blocks and this will make it easy for you to identify any threats in the location. You can safely avoid the danger zone and move in designated blocks that will not cause you any harm. The tracks are also clearly visible and you can see the wooden blocks supporting the tracks in a uniform pattern. The TNT material is also secured in a concrete block and you can even see the marking on the object. With the help of this pack, you can identify such dangers even during the night time and this will improve your chances of surviving in the game for a long duration. As you can see, there is some light visible at the end of the vegetation and this gives you an indication of the overall surrounding region.

This is the perfect example of the night vision feature of this pack. You can clearly see the vegetation in yellow color and the wooden blocks in the border of the vegetation. Apart from that, the green checks in the ground indicate solid area and you can easily walk on the surface without any problem. There is no risk of any hidden danger when you have such clear vision in the dark. The green vegetation in the middle looks like some plants and you can also notice the various blocks in the far end of this picture. You can also notice a person in purple color standing in the garden and this will help you identify the location and spot any harmful elements even during the night time.

The night view of the building in special vision gives you the complete information about the surrounding area. You can see the red colored candies in the middle and there are blue colored flowers next to it. The colors may appear differently during the daytime and this change is due to the night vision effect used in the pack. The house also has light in the entrance area and you can see a row of glass windows that will give you a glimpse of the house. You can also notice some trees in the main entrance and there is a huge box that is having a steel frame in the middle.
