Every Bloodline has its own perks and techniques, and in order to use them the player must unlock them by leveling them up. The Bloodline’s abilities can be found by going in-game > Menu (press M) > Bloodline. There, the player can their Bloodline’s level and how much experience it has.

The player can gain experience by doing anything that grants normal EXP, such as; quests, War, training logs, etc.

Once the player obtains enough experience, they can unlock their first ability, which has a requirement for a certain stat and costs Ryo to unlock. Each requirement/price depends on the Bloodline owned.

Bloodline ability requirement example

Some Bloodlines have a mode which can be used once the player reaches the required level for the Bloodline. They can equip this by pressing the «equip» button after reaching the required level.

Modes give stat boosts to the player, and certain modes have different stages. They can be either a mode assigned to the «Z» key, or assigned to the «C» key. Bloodlines with a «Z» mode, and most Elemental Bloodlines have the unique property of being able to assign their moves into non-Bloodline move slots.

Certain Bloodlines such as Lava or Apollo-Sand are well-known for completing quests, while others such as Rengoku, Tengoku, and etc. are good for PVP.

Mode

By holding C, the user can activate Renshiki’s mode, which requires Bloodline Level 400. When Renshiki’s mode is activated, the user dons a white cloak, and grows a pair of black horns and a third eye in the middle of their forehead. Their skin and hair also become white, with streams of black dripping down from their face, chest, and arms. A large axe and spear made of green energy also appear on their back. The user also slightly levitates above the ground while this mode is active. This mode drains 25 MD per second.

Ability

While this mode is active, the user can fly up by holding down spacebar and descend by holding X, though this rapidly drains their stamina. The user’s basic melee attack is also replaced with them swinging their axe and spear, using them like Weapon Ninja Tools.

After pressing C while holding down right-click in this mode, the user creates a medium-sized energy bomb similar to Renshiki Style: Kami Bomb, and flies forward with it until they hit a target. The user can also change their direction by shifting their cursor, and upon contact, the bomb explodes, dealing a few ticks of damage. This ability uses 25,000 Chi and has a 35 second cooldown.

After pressing Q while in this mode, the user manifests several large green orbs above them and hurls them at the direction of the cursor. This volley of orbs explode on contact and stun the enemy with green chains for a couple of seconds. This move is also capable of homing. This ability does not use Chi and has a 15 second cooldown.
